A couple of weeks ago, my mom got two goats from a friend at her work. She said it was hard to catch them because one of the goats got its head and first front leg stuck in a big gate~type thing. It was running around going bahah, bahah, bahah with the gate still stuck around its neck! Then it started running toward my mom and the goat hit my moms knee with the gate~thing it had around its neck. While that was happening, my moms friend had gotten the smaller black goat but it was too worried  with all the craziness that was going on and it got away.  The goat that got its head stuck is brown with white fur on its belly and the other goat is black with horns on it.  My moms friend said that it was one of the funniest things that she ever saw.

The picture on the left is what the black one looks like, and the one on the right is what the brown and white on looks like.

Both of the goats are 15~20 years old and are males.   They are both weathered and we think that they are pygmy goats. The brown one is very grumpy and doesn’t like to be touched. My brother, Mason, was almost hit in the butt by the brown goat charging after him. The black one is smaller and nicer.

I can’t what until spring when we will build a fence and then they can walk around the field. But until then, they are safe in the barn in the stable. Another thing I like about these goats is that I won’t have to mow the yard around the barn!
